About Japan Alerts
Japan Alerts sends you new listings from Japan's secondhand marketplaces (Mercari Japan, Yahoo! Auctions, Rakuma and Yahoo! Flea Market) within seconds of them going up. It's built for buyers outside Japan.
How it works
We read every new public listing on all four marketplaces, around 4.5 million a day, and match each one against the searches our users save. You search in English; we match Japanese titles too and show you the Japanese terms we use, which you can edit.
A match reaches you on Discord, Telegram, email, phone push or a live feed. Measured from listing to catch in September 2026, the median was 11 seconds on Yahoo! Flea Market, 28 seconds on Mercari and 30 seconds on Yahoo! Auctions. Every alert links straight to the original listing, so you buy through whichever proxy service you prefer.
Who runs it
Japan Alerts is built and run by Bonk Industries LLC, a small independent company in the USA. It started as a Telegram bot for collectors who kept missing listings, and became this web app in August 2026.

We aren't affiliated with Mercari, Rakuten, LY Corporation (Yahoo! JAPAN) or any proxy service, and we don't favour any proxy: links go to the listing itself. We only read what the marketplaces show publicly.
