Mercari Japan Saved-Search Notifications: What Exists and What Doesn't
If you've searched for this, you've already discovered the gap: Mercari Japan lets you save a search in the app, but it will not push or email you when new listings match it. eBay-style saved-search alerts simply don't exist there — nor on Yahoo! Auctions, Rakuma, or Yahoo! Furima. For a market where good listings sell in minutes, that's a serious hole. These are your actual options.
Option 1: The official app (checking manually)
Saved searches in the Mercari Japan app remember your keywords and show new-item badges when you open them.
